Crafting Light. Printing Atmosphere.
An independent digital manufacturing studio based in Melbourne, Australia.
Designing for the Senses
We believe that home lighting should be an art form, not an afterthought. Harsh, mass-produced lighting forces a room to feel sterile. At [MUI], our goal is to rethink how we illuminate our spaces by creating geometric, architectural decor that shapes shadows and brings intentional warmth to the modern home.
Philosophy
Sustainable by Design
We build with intention. Our lamps are crafted layer-by-layer using premium, plant-based PLA bio-plastics.
Beyond the materials, we design for longevity. By engineering our lamps with modular components—like our native integration with the IKEA STRÅLA system—we ensure your lighting can adapt, upgrade, and grow with your space over time, rather than ending up in a landfill.

Digital Craftsmanship & Zero Waste
We do not rely on overseas factories or wasteful mass-production lines. Every single TRIA lamp is meticulously 3D-printed on-demand in our Australian studio.
By utilizing advanced "digital craft" techniques, we are able to produce complex, sculptural geometries that traditional manufacturing simply cannot match. Because we only print exactly what is ordered, we entirely eliminate the environmental impact of overproduction and warehousing waste.
